Billie Holiday’s birthday is April 7th 1915. Just like one of her closest friends, Lester Young, she too died to young. To commemorate the lives of these two iconic American Masters and how they revolutionized jazz, we will post three videos between March 15th (the day Lester passed) and April 7.
